Hello! I'm John your physical therapist, thanks for considering BioMechanics Physical Therapy.  Here’s a little background on me: 

I was raised in southeastern North Carolina with a passion for sports that has shaped much of my journey. Growing up in a small town outside of Whiteville, NC (Baseball Town USA), I immersed myself in various athletic pursuits, eventually earning a baseball scholarship to East Carolina University. Despite the setbacks of several injuries that curtailed my playing career, the experience fueled a desire to understand the intricacies of the human body.

Navigating the economic challenges of the 2007-2008 crash, I pivoted from my initial path in the banking industry to attempt something entirely new and different, a career in physical therapy.  Motivated by a genuine interest in helping others regain and enhance their physical well-being, I diligently acquired the necessary credits and successfully gained admission to physical therapy school.  I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2013 and have experience in home health, SNF’s, and outpatient clinics with a focus on adult care as well as athletes. 

Now, as a physical therapist and business owner, I find fulfillment in combining my business and marketing background with a profound understanding of the human body to provide convenient and efficient, comprehensive care.  My journey reflects resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to personal and professional growth. I look forward to continuing to learn and contribute to the well-being of those I am able to assist.
